Your Prayer and Financial Support is Needed

We have been so grateful for those of you who have supported this ministry with your prayers and gifts in the past few years.

God has blessed the ministry of the Institute for Global Opportunities in many ways. We have seen God open doors of ministry in villages and in Chiang Mai for the Gospel. We are humbled by the opportunities God has brought our way.

We are grateful for your prayer and financial support which has helped us to be able to carry out the ministries to which God has called us. Each of you who have prayed for the work, or given a financial gift have been a real encouragement and partner with us.

We have completed our second year of classroom study in the missionary training program. God has allowed us to minister in other ways as well. Becky Stoltzfus is working with women who are coming out of prostitution here in Chiang Mai. Darren Sommers and Brian Ranck have been ministering to people in the village of Pang Klang. Raymond Burkholder has been traveling to various countries in Asia to teach and disciple pastors and Christian leaders. Kris Schrock and Dru and Lisl Lattin have been teaching English as a way of building relationships for the purpose of sharing the Gospel.

This winter we are planning a three-week Bible Institute term for Asian students. We are also planning to hold a one-week Pastor’s Institute. God has given the staff in Asia a real burden for helping the church in Asia.

We need your continued partnership in both prayer support and financial giving. Your financial support over the next few months is crucial, if we are going to carry out the plans that God has laid on our hearts. I know that many worthy causes are appealing for your financial support at this time of the year. We humbly ask you to consider if God would have you give a financial gift to the Institute for Global Opportunities between now and the end of the year.
